Nikki Fragala Barnes is a transdisciplinary scholar of the arts and humanities and professor of Creative Writing at the University of Central Florida. Research interests include digital ethics of consent, land-based public histories, archives, monuments, and digital deterioration. She serves as an Ethics Ambassador with the Center for Ethics, which works to integrate ethics within all areas of research.

Nikki Fragala Barnes is also an editor, curator, experimental poet and participatory installation artist.
